AS COMMUNITY DEV DEPT WE SENSITIZE GROUPS THAT ARE SERIOUS WITH ISSUES OF DEVEPT. KANNADA JFFLS IN THE PAST FOUR YEARS HAVE BEEN STRUGGLING TO STAND ON THEIR FITS AS THE PROJECT WAS INITIATED BY FOOD AGRICULTURE AND ORGANISATION. THANKS TO CMI WHO CAME TO BILL OUT THE GROUP WITH A LOAN OF US $4,000. THE GROUP AFTER BEING LAUGHED AT BY THE COMMUNITY IS NOW STANDING WITH ITS TWO FITS.

THE GROUP HAS THE FOLLOWING PROJECTS

1. PIGGERY PRODUCTION

2. MAIZE PRODUCTION

3. HONEY PRODUCTION

THE GROUP IS PLANNING TO EXPAND THE PIGGERY PRODUCTION TO MEET THE INCREASING NUMBER OF PIGS (4 FEMALE PIGS AND 20 PIGLETS)

This makes me so happy! I don't know why the community would laugh at the school….I mean I guess that I can imagine it happening but the jealousy/put-another-down type thing seems to make no sense to me as it holds off progress.

I've always told everyone the leaders at KJFFLS are my heros because they have stuck with the work and grown their own vision that they OWN fully on how to improve the school. Everyone in the world can learn something from you guys.
