CMI works with a number of grassroots organizations in Zambia to identify clients, guide them through the application process, and monitor repayments. 


Foundation for Wildlife and Habitat Conservation
Based in Mpika District of Northern Province, FWHC successfully reaches out to the most vulnerable communities living outside of game managements areas to provide alternative sources of income for families who might otherwise have to turn to poaching. Recognized by National Geogrpahic and Time magazine for their innovative and successful work connecting village communities with their environment through sustainable wetland agricutlrure, FWHC is leading the spread of credit through revolving loan funds and sustainable use of the natural resources in their area. 

Rising Fountains Development Program
RFDP works in the Lundai District of Eastern Province, an area mostly untouched by other NGO aid organzations. Reaching into the very rural areas, RFDP works with commuity and government schools, HIV/AIDS support groups, women's clubs and farming groups to help initiate income generating activities, water and saniataion projects, nutrition and HIV/AIDS awareness and gender education. Run by an excellent team of committed Zambian development workerd, RFDP is offering opportunities for growth in some of the communities that need it most. 

The Peace Corps is an American volunteer program run by the United States Government, as well as a government agency of the same name. The mission of the Peace Corps includes three goals: providing technical assistance, helping people outside the United States to understand US culture, and helping Americans to understand the cultures of other countries. Generally, the work is related to social and economic development.

Lihulo Enterprises
Lihulo Enterprises is working with the Eastern Province of Zambia to empower women's groups and farming clubs to initiate sustainable income generating activiites as well as access local and international markets. 

Chindwin SLA is a group of 25 dedicated community health workers who came together to form a rotating savings and loan group in order to not only provide financial opportunities to group members, but to support local medical outreach to the vulnerable with some of the profits raised through the interest on their loans.
